Observation Opportunities
Many students need observation hours as part of their academic program or graduate school application process. We offer observation opportunities throughout the year at our outpatient physical therapy clinics.
Students may have the opportunity to:
- Observe physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions;
- Learn about common orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques;
- Gain insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of physical therapists and support staff; and
- Explore whether a career in physical therapy is the right fit.
Observation opportunities are available at our Concord, Gilford, Hooksett, and Plymouth locations. Placements are based on clinic availability and where support is most needed.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from:
- Undergraduate students exploring physical therapy or healthcare careers
- Students enrolled in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, athletic training, or related programs
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students seeking observation or clinical exposure
Students from any accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. We’re looking for students who are eager to learn, communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a clinical environment. Successful applicants should be dependable, receptive to feedback, and interested in gaining real-world experience in physical therapy and healthcare.
Our team reviews all submissions and will contact qualified applicants if observation or internship opportunities are available. We accept applications year-round and encourage interested students to apply even if opportunities are not immediately available.
